Strategic study of energy transfer options and investments in large-scale offshore wind farms in Åland and related technical advisory services

The Government of Åland has an aim to enable the establishment of large-scale offshore wind farms on the northern side of Åland in sea-areas managed by the government. To this end, the Government of Åland is requesting bids for related technical advisory services. The requested bid covers the following areas for delivery:
1) Conducting a strategic study that will consider and analyse various options for transferring energy from large-scale offshore wind (OSW) farms in the Region of Åland,
2) Provide cost estimates for establishing an offshore wind farm in designated areas of Åland and
3) Provide the Government of Åland with technical advisory services related to these questions during a planned auction process.
