RFI – Software for MWD interpretation and tunnel mapping for the joint project Arna-Stanghelle.

The joint project Arna – Stanghelle (hereafter called "FAS") is a joint project between the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and Bane NOR. FAS is a part of the project portfolio for The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Development Area West and Bane NOR, Division Development, Development Unit Mega Projects.

FAS would like, via this invitation, to have a dialogue with the supplier market. We would like the survey to give us information that makes the future tender documentation and a contract better and adapted to both the users and the market.

FAS is planning a procurement process for an MWD interpretation program and a tunnel mapping program, with an expected contract length of up to eight years. A tentative progress plan has been set with possible contract signing in Q4 2026.

As a part of the work, FAS is now going out with this market survey. This is to probe the market and relevant suppliers, systems and available systems.

The objective of the market survey is to clarify which systems the market can offer for:
• Mapping Program
• MWD data, drilling parameter interpretation and any integration with a mapping program.
• Capacity for the collection, transfer and management of MWD data.
• Input for the set-up for the price form and price elements for such a long-term delivery.
