The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Technology Operations and Maintenance (henceforth referred to as the Contracting Authority) requests tenders for infrared scanning of asphalt works in 2026.
The objective of the heating measurements is to register temperature variations on the surface immediately after laying out. This contributes to increased quality and extended lifetime of the asphalt, which in turn reduces lifetime costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
The measurements shall be carried out with infrared thermographic measuring equipment.
Tenderers must be qualified to carry out IR scanning in accordance with the description in annex 1 - "Description of Heat Photography", and have the necessary equipment and personnel available to carry out the delivery.
