NRK has carried out a procurement of a frontend developer for the Sound Team - the Sound Team is in a phase where we will make important technology choices connected to modernising our services.  A POC shall be prepared to test and prove these choices. The resource will work closely with our front-end developer and the rest of the team in this work. A central part of this will be to transfer frontend competence through collaboration, pair programming, discussions and workshops. An example of the choices we should make is whether we shall utilise React or Svelte, and the resource must therefore have solid experience with both frameworks. In some periods the resource will assist with management and maintenance of existing services, such as upgrading dependencies and error recovery. Rewriting the existing service in React can also be required as a part of the modernisation work. We emphasise that the resource has good communication ability, an educational approach and long experience with competence transfer and training of juniors. The person in question must enjoy pair programming and preferably have experience with mob programming. The assignment requires that the resource has had a leading developer role in other projects and can give advice tailored to our needs in relation to architecture, framework, security, testing and code quality.
