Design, manufacturing, delivery, on-site integration, commissioning and final acceptance tests of the in-vessel viewing system (IVVS), one of the remote handling systems to be delivered in kind to ITER by the European Domestic Agency.

This deviation has produced the following changes:
I) main scope:
1. upgrade and retesting of the PCS prototype by SERAPID, based on the lessons learnt from the tests to date (WBS 05.01.04.05);
2. inclusion of a task to assess the feasibility of adapting Serapid's pushing chain technology for other RH packages like the NBRHS (WBS 05.01.05);
3. inclusion of a feasibility study with concurrent subcontractors on the performance of the optical link (WBS 05.02.01.03);
4. expansion of the Cartridge Assembly redesign task, including lessons learnt from the recently completed CMS prototype testing (WBS 05.01.03.03);
5. cancellation of tribology tests on candidate bushings, as this activity would no longer inform the design (WBS 02.01.03).
6. upgrade and re‐testing of the PCS prototype by SERAPID, based on the lessons learnt from the tests to date;
7. inclusion of a task to assess the feasibility of adapting Serapid's pushing chain technology for other RH packages like the NBRHS;
8. inclusion of a feasibility study with concurrent subcontractors on the performance of the optical link;
9. expansion of the Cartridge Assembly redesign task, including lessons learnt from
10. recently completed CMS prototype testing;
11. cancellation of tribology tests on candidate bushings, as this activity would no longer inform the design;
12. New contract closure: Mon 05/07/27.
