MORE2024 movable simulators

KRAO is acquiring movable train simulators for training train drivers. There should be between 3-6 simulator units with physical controls for the main functions of the train, functions with less priority can be done with touchscreens. The simulators should be as lightweight as possible, so that one person can move them around to different training locations.

The simulators should simulate Siemens Vectron locomotive (Finnish spec), Finnish railway network with all it's signaling, signs and operational rules. There has to be possibility to create scenarios with different operational rules and weather conditions, different day/time properties, multiple possible faults at the train simulated and also at the infrastructure (tracks, switches, electrical components etc.). There should also be interactive AI elements like other trains, animals, people, falling trees etc. Software must be modern technology and developable in the future.
