Market survey: Elastomerial disposable pumps for the Hospital Pharmacies in Norway

The Hospital Pharmacies in Norway are planning a coming procurement of elastomerial disposable pumps of various sizes: small (50-130 ml) and large (150-600 ml). Tenderers are thus invited to a market survey for the pending procurement.

The objective of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement for elastomerial disposable pumps. The disposable pumps shall function as containers/packaging for medicines and ensure a uniform and controlled release of the medicine with a fixed infusion rate. The pumps shall be free-standing and function without the use of electronic equipment.

The pumps shall i.a. be able to be used for administering cytostatica (cancer treatment), antibiotics (treatment of infections, including preparations with citrate buffer), and pain relieving medicines, including palliative treatment.

The elastomeric pumps shall be able to be used for long term infusion with infusion times from about 30 minutes to several days, and it shall be easy to administer. The pumps shall be suitable for use in health institutions and for home care.
