Market survey: Autofluorescance for detecting parathyreoids to Helse Bergen HF

Sykehusinnkjøp HF intends, on behalf of Helse Bergen HF, to hold a procurement to enter into an agreement for the purchase of autofluorescence for detecting parathyreoidea. The equipment shall enable intraoperative autofluorescence to identify and locate parathyreoid glands during endocrine throat surgery. The aim is to support the surgeon with faster and more secure visualisation of parathyreoidea, especially in situations where the glands are small, atypically located or difficult to distinguish from surrounding tissues.

The equipment shall be used as an addition to the current standard surgical technique, to contribute to:

Preservation of parathyreoidea and blood supply (vasculation), in particular with thyroid surgery with potentially reduced risk of postoperative hypocalcaemia/hypoparatyreoidism

More precise dissection and decision support in demanding anatomical conditions

During parathyreoid surgery: support to identify normal glands (e.g. by re-surgery), separating parathyreoids from surrounding tissues and contributing to safer dissection

Thyroid surgery (hemithyreoidectomy and total thyroidectomy), including. re-operations

Sentral lymph node descision with thyroid cancer

Parathyreoid surgery (primary and reoperative surgery in hyperparathyroidism)

The aim of the market survey is to get an overview of available products, technical solutions and market conditions, which can provide a basis for the design of any future tender documentation. We request the following information:

List price or a guiding price for relevant equipment

Information on any additional systems, software, service agreements or consumables

Whether the equipment is certified in accordance with. Directive 93/42/EØF on other medical equipment (MDD) or the European Parliament and the Council ́s Regulation (EU) no. 2017/745 on medical equipment (MDR). A declaration of conformity for each equipment/product, accessories and consumables shall be enclosed with the tender in English or a Scandinavian language.

Does the system support for structured exchange of patient and medical information, which uses known standards (HL7, DICOM or equivalent), over recognised technical protocols.

Does the tenderer have the option to send MDS2 document for the offered system upon request?
