Market Dialogue regarding Marselistunnel

The Danish Road Directorate hereby invites interested contractors and suppliers to participate in an preliminary market dialogue regarding the Marselis Tunnel. The market dialogue concerns the construction of a 1.8 km tunnel under Marselis Boulevard in Aarhus with four lanes, as well as the establishment of a road on top of the tunnel once it has been constructed.
The tunnel will connect the Port of Aarhus and the city centre with the Aarhus South Motorway.
In addition to the tunnel itself and the road above it, the project also includes noise barriers, new paths for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as noise protection measures along the Aarhus South Motorway near Stavtrup.
Prior to the tendering of the construction works, the Danish Road Directorate wishes to obtain the market’s assessment of the procurement and contract conditions, as well as the execution methodology.
Responses from the market dialogue will support the Danish Road Directorate in developing the procurement and contract specifications for the project so that they reflect current market conditions and capacities.
