Invitation to a market dialogue for the procurement of Group Health Insurance for diplomats stationed in Europe and temporary personnel worldwide

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites potential suppliers to a market dialogue ahead of the planned procurement of group health insurance for diplomats stationed in Belgium, England, Finland, France, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Croatia, and ambulatory personnel worldwide.

The procurement currently covers approx. 300 officials and accompanying family members in Belgium, England, Finland, France, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Croatia. The insurance applies during your entire stay abroad, 24 hours a day, all days a year during stays in the countries listed above.

The procurement also covers approx. 10 temporary personnel worldwide. The number can vary slightly during the contract period, but based on the contracting authority ́s experience, there will be small variations. For temporary personnel, insurance is worldwide, 24/7, every day of the year.

The insurance provides financial coverage for necessary expenses for health services for illness, injury, blemby, family planning, pregnancy, birth and pregnancy interruptions in line with that provided by the Act 28 February 1997 no. 19 on national insurance (the National Insurance Act) part IV chapter 5 Allowance for health care. The main services included in the scheme shall therefore cover admissions and treatment in hospitals, also necessary parent accommodation for children, outpatient treatment, doctor consultation and examinations.
