The procedure covers the hardware and software requested to the Cyber lab in Moldova.
The EU4Security Moldova project aims to improve law enforcement capabilities to deliver professional security services. Our aim is to provide the Moldovan Police General Inspectorate with the necessary infrastructure, tools, resources and expertise to establish an advanced cybercrime laboratory. This facility will enable thorough digital investigations, bolstering the country’s efforts to effectively combat cybercrime.
Subject of the contract
Under Component 2, the project aims to preserve, analyse, and examine digital evidence in a controlled environment. This will enable investigators to uncover critical information and trace digital footprints left by cybercriminals. A dedicated cyber lab will allow Moldovan Police General Inspectorate to respond swiftly to cyber incidents.
The project proposes to establish the necessary infrastructure, acquire the required materials to support the cyber lab’s activities, and ensure that the infrastructure meets the technical requirements for conducting digital investigations.
