Engineer/Supervision of Works contracts (design & build) for Railway Line under the Belgrade – Niš Railway Modernisation Project

Engineer/Supervision services cover the whole Belgrade–Niš railway project (approx. 230 km), divided into: Section 1 - Resnik–Velika Plana, Section 2 - Velika Plana–Paraćin (excluding subsect. 2.2 Gilje-Paracin), and Section 3 - Paraćin–Trupale (with subsect. Paraćin–Stalać, Stalać–Đunis (Lot 2), Tunnel No. 4 (Lot 1), and Đunis–Trupale). Signalling and telecommunications will be the subject of a separate contract for their implementation on the entire length of the Belgrade-Nis railway line. Works Contracts for Lot 1 and Lot 2 are signed; others will be tendered.
The project includes double-tracking, upgrading to 200 km/h, UIC GC clearance, reconstruction of tracks, structures, stations, electrification (ENE), signalling adaptations, grade separations, and environmental measures.
Services include acting as FIDIC Engineer (Yellow Book), Supervising works (national legislation), reviewing and approving designs, TSI compliance, ensuring quality, safety, and E&S compliance (EIB/EBRD), contract administration, and engagement independent TSI and national certification.
Outputs include TSI and national conformity certification, risk assessment (CSM RA), supervision of testing/commissioning, and support for handover. Final goal: delivery of a fully operational, maintainable railway system.
