Als Teil des gesamten Bodensegments der 2. Generation der Galileo In-Orbit-Validierung (G2G IOV Ground Segment), besteht der Hauptzweck des G2G IOV- Ground Control Segment in der Bereitstellung der relevanten Bodenkontrollsystemfähigkeiten.
