2026/344 – RFI/market survey – New Backup system.

This is a probe (RFI) where the purpose is to identify which possibilities and services exist for back-up infrastructure in the cloud. We have established landing zones in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and in Azure and are in the process of moving all services away from our data halls. We are deploying the Azure VMware solution. We would like tenderers to inform about and describe options that they believe best see to the needs for backup that are described in this probe. Note that this is not to be considered as part of a pending procurement process. Final decisions and choices regarding any procurements have not yet been made. The response to this probe will not obligate either the tenderer or the Directorate of Public Construction and Property in relation to any future procurement. A complete reply with the questions related to point 4 shall be sent in via the communication module in Mercell by 04.02.2026, 10.00. If needed, Statsbygg will be able to invite selected tenderers to one-to-one meetings for further details on the information and input that has been submitted.
