A Digital Waste Collection System refers to a system that, among other things, supports the planning, execution and monitoring of municipal waste collection services. The system is intended to support container registration and traceability, waste collection operations, incident and deviation management, communication with residents, reporting and operational oversight. Furthermore, the system must be capable of supporting both real-time and historical data related to waste collection activities and be usable by different user groups, including drivers, supervisors, customer service staff, office staff, and management.
