The freshwater area encompasses support to Water Framework Directive, WISE-SoE, Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive, Bathing Water Directive, Drinking Water Directive, Water Re-use Regulation, the aquatic aspects of the Nature Restoration Regulation and the Floods Directive.
The work area has links to the marine area, nature, biodiversity, restoration and chemicals.
