PIN 3964 – Prior Information Notice for the Procurement of a Transportation Design Consultant to produce Local Transport Plans (District and Local Level) for the Western Side of South Dublin County Council area using the Area Based Transport Assessment Process

Prior Information Notice - To procure a Transportation Consultant to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering “Area Based Transport Assessment and Local Transport Plans” for the Western Area of South Dublin County Council; The deliverables will be to analyse the study area under the following criteria; review and update the baseline transport data; Estimate development growth and the consequent transport demand increases within the timeframe of the “future forecast years” of the Transport Plan; Identify sustainable transport objectives; Recommend strategic and local level transport infrastructure network improvements and measures; Integrate land use and accessibility needs; Address cross sector issues (urban planning, environmental, climate action); Support policy translation and recommend transport deliverables and outcomes.
