Market survey – Framework agreement for the hire of technical event equipment and staffing.

1.1 Information on the procurement
Sandnes municipality, hereafter called the contracting authority, is preparing a framework agreement with up to 2 - two - tenderers for temporary hire of event technical equipment and staffing for various events. The contracting authority annually holds many different types of events of varying sizes, both indoor and outdoor. The events can take place during the day and/or evening, on weekdays and/or on weekends. The need can vary and change from year to year.
The contracting authority is uncertain about the extent of the procurement, but it is estimated that the procurement ́s annual value will be between NOK 200,000,000 and NOK 2,000,000. NOK 450,000 - 700,000 excluding VAT. This gives a combined value for the entire contract period, including options, for between NOK 200,000,000 and NOK 2,000,000 excluding VAT. NOK 1,800,000 - 2,800,000 excluding VAT. The difference is due to uncertainty as to which events will be held in the future.
The estimate is based on statistics from previous years, is only of an informative character and is not binding for the contracting authority or rights for the tenderer. The amounts can vary based on i.a. the municipality ́s budgets and the number of events each year.

1.2 The objective of the market survey.
The contracting authority would like to have a good dialogue with the market so that the competition can be held in the best possible way. The contracting authority would, thus, like input on the different points in the market survey. This feedback will be important for the contracting authority being able to get an overview of the market situation and arrange a good and realistic competition.
