The contract concerns the delivery of an IT solution, provided as “Software as a Service,” to support the operation of bus-on-demand services (“Nærbus”) as well as fixed-route operations.Bus-on-demand is a flexible transport concept in which smaller buses operate between existing stops without a fixed timetable and only when booked by passengers.The purpose of this Contract is to provide Customer with a Solution based on a “Software as a Service” to support the operation of bus-on-demand service (“Nærbus”). Nærbus is a flexible transportation concept in which smaller buses operate between existing stops without a fixed timetable and only when booked by passengers. The Nærbus-service aims to improve public transport coverage and efficiency in rural areas by allowing buses to operate at times and frequencies aligned with actual demand, while avoiding unnecessary trips.Nærbus may either supplement or replace regular scheduled services, in whole or in part, depending on operational and passenger needs. The Solution shall enable the booking, planning, and execution of trips for passengers, drivers, operators, traffic controllers, and other relevant user groups, and shall support integration with the Customer’s existing systems, including Rejseplan/Rejsekort, the Transport Management System (TMS), and Movia Business Intelligence (BI).
