Overhaul of English Electric/GEC EA2 power turbines This procurement consists of overhaul of one (1) English Electric/GEC EA2 power turbine.
The overhaul of Huutokoski unit 5 will take place in 2026.
In addition to this, overhaul of four (4) English Electric/GEC EA2 power turbines, shall be quoted as mandatory options 1, 2, 3 and 4 (“Options”).
The schedule for executing these options shall be decided later, but are preliminarily planned for years 2027 - 2030.
The preliminary scope of supply for Huutokoski unit 5 overhaul consists of:
1) Disassembly of the power turbine to a level in which the rotor discs and stator
vanes are removed from the unit
2) Inspection of all relevant parts, components and assemblies. Measurement and
record of relevant clearances and dimensions
3) Supply and replacement of all consumables and one life components
4) Supply and replacement of all other potentially required spare parts
5) Repair of any damaged parts, components and assemblies
6) Reassembly of the unit
7) Commissioning
The same scope of supply shall be quoted for the Options.,
