Request for Information: Drug Candidates for Akershus University Hospital HF

Akershus University Hospital (Ahus) seeks to establish contact with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for the synthesis of innovative and previously untested drug candidates that may elicit the degradation and inhibition of harmful peptides in the brain. The Hospital is therefore seeking CROs with documented experience and sufficient resources to cover their synthesis needs.

The contracting authority intends to enter into an agreement for the purchase of R&D services, and it is assumed that the procurement is exempted from the Norwegian Public Procurement Act and the Public Procurement Regulations (FOA), cf. FOA Section 2-5. The contracting authority seeks publication in the European market, and therefore this type of notice is used.

The contracting authority has limited insight into the supplier market and seeks to establish contact with potential CROs through this notice. An invitation to submit a tender will be sent to selected suppliers once the Contracting Authority has obtained sufficient information to prepare the final procurement documents.
