PIN for the Provision of Traffic Control Equipment Maintenance and Emergency General Works Contract for the County of Kildare

Kildare County Council wishes to inform interested economic operators of a planned procurement competition for the provision of a Traffic Control Equipment Maintenance and Emergency General Works Contract for the County of Kildare.
This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition. A call for competition may be placed within the next three months.
The proposed contract will include the maintenance of all Traffic Control and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) equipment in County Kildare. This will include, but is not limited to, MOVA, VA, SCOOT/UTC controlled, and STRATOS monitored signal-controlled junctions and pedestrian crossings, together with all Periodic Warning and Driver Feedback signage. Full details will be published in the Request for Tenders (RFT).
The contract is intended to comprise:
1. An expected fixed annual cost of maintenance, and
2. Notional tasks which may or may not be drawn down as required.
Note: Some Notional Tasks may or may not be included in the final contract based on price/need.
Note: This contract will not include public lighting maintenance.
