This notice is to be construed as a Contract Modification Notice within the meaning of Directive 2014/25/EU (the “Utilities Directive”), and all obligations, requirements, rights and procedures under the Utilities Directive applicable to modifications of a contract during its term shall apply to this notice in full including, but not limited to, Article 89 and Annex XVI.
For the avoidance of doubt, this notice shall not have the effect of a Voluntary Ex Ante Notice under the Remedies Directives (Directive 92/13/EEC, as amended by Directive 2007/66/EC), and should not be relied upon as such.

Description of the modifications.
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):
EirGrid plc are contracted with GECO DB (“contractor”) for the hosting of an IT stakeholder data repository related to EirGrid’s strategic infrastructure projects (namely CSCS, “System”).
GECO DB services were originally procured in 2012 for a value below OJEU thresholds, of €10,800. Since 2013 the contract has been renewed annually at a cost of circa €32,800 per year.In September 2024, the value was increased by €32,400 from €441,60 to €474k.
EirGrid is planning to migrate all the information and data in the System to an EirGrid’s hosted system, but to allow this migration to complete there is a need for a contract renewal until December 2026 and a further uplift of €44,170 to bridge the period between now and this migration.
This Contract Modification Notic captures the renewal contract (until December 2026) for an additional value of €44,170 (total cumulative value is €518,170). This will provide EirGrid with hosting, management, and application support services from contractor, to ensure continuity of support for these critical services, until the migration of the data to EirGrid’ systems is completed.
