Description

The procurement includes the execution of winter operation and snow clearing services as well as spring sweeping of municipal space areas in accordance with the stated route lists and the attached maps. The delivery shall include planned snow clearing suitable surfaces and conditions, mechanical and hand-wise gritting, removal and proper disposal of snow when necessary, as well as sweeping and clearing after the winter season. Tenderers are required to have the necessary equipment and manpower at their disposal to handle both ordinary assignments and extraordinary weather conditions, as well as the tenderer having a duty scheme/stand-by that ensures a quick response time when calling out. The work shall be carried out in accordance with prioritising criteria where buildings with many users and users with reduced functional ability are prioritised, and tenderers shall be able to present snow clearing and gritting routes on request. It is particularly important to calculate opening hours for schools and nurseries. Gritting material and necessary materials shall be costly by the supplier and used in a way that reduces intrusion into the building body and unnecessarily spreading to sensitive areas such as artificial grass fields.
