The Agency for Water and Wastewater services shall implement a procurement for the engineering design services for and the construction of a pilot plant for quarternary treatment, and will, thus, carry out a market survey to map the supplier market and ask a few questions.
The project:
A pilot plant for quarternary treatment shall be established at Bekkelaget treatment facility. The contractor shall design, construct, function test, deliver, document and commission a pilot plant based on ozonation followed by granular activated carbon (GAC). The system shall be designed to remove micro pollutants from sewage water (after the sand filter), and ensure an effective reduction of these by ozonation and GAC both in combination and separately.
