Management and operation of Waste Management Facilities at Scotch Corner and Carrickmacross.

Monaghan County Council has a statutory and regulatory role across a wide and varied range of Environmental Functions including Waste Management. This Service concession involves the management and operation of waste Management facilities at Scotch Corner and Carrickmacross for a maximum duration of nine years (i.e. 5 year contract with the option of two additional two year extensions subject to satisfactory performance and ongoing need and subsequent agreement between Monaghan County Council and the Concessionaire). The facility at Carrickmacross is a public Civic Amenity Site, whilst the facility at Scotch Corner comprises of a public Civic Amenity site and a Materials Recovery Facility/ Waste Transfer Station.
