Hydrographic surveying services

The Norwegian Coastal Administration invites tenderers to a restricted tender contest for the establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) in accordance with the PPR §§ 26-4 to 26-7.|| The objective of establishing the DPS is to cover the need for hydrographical services.|| The Norwegian Coastal Administration's development department carries out measures in the waters along the coast and, in this connection, require good capacity in the area of marine surveying and processing of hydrographical data. Hydrographical data is used for planning measures and for verification of completed measures, as well as updating official nautical charts.|| It is essential that the hydrographical data gathered for verification of completed measures forms the basis for updates to official nautical charts. Only the Norwegian Mapping Authority and certified marine surveying organisations can process and submit hydrographical data to the Norwegian Mapping Authority's|| database for qualified depth data.
